When I see the image of Yin and Yang, I’m instantly transported back to where it all began.

I was about 16, sitting in my room, completely captivated by a book on the concept of Yin and Yang ☯.

The balance of masculine and feminine energy intrigued me in ways I couldn’t yet explain.

Little did I know, this idea of harmony would define my life’s journey.

Astrology later affirmed this path—my mission to embrace and integrate both sides of myself, to grow, adapt, and shine through life’s ever-changing circumstances.

I began as a hairdresser, pouring my passion into the craft. Despite some opposition, I graduated at the top of my class and even placed second in a national competition. Make-up artistry was my true dream, but at the time, it felt too far out of reach.

Inspired by my uncle’s tales of adventure—his travels through deserts and ancient sites in the 60s—I made my first bucket list, brimming with places to explore. My youthful ambition led me to dream big: cutting hair on a ship, seeing the world while working with my hands. Life, however, had its own plans. A scholarship from the American Congress and German government brought me to the U.S., where I studied and worked in Washington State. I passed two state exams to work there, stepping far outside my comfort zone but onto a path that I truly owned.

While in the U.S., I was even more introduced to energy work and essential oils—and to a deeper connection with myself.

My wanderlust grew. I journeyed to Australia, New Zealand, and across the United States before embarking on an unforgettable motorcycle trip from Cape Town to Nairobi. My former boyfriend and I eventually settled in Berlin, where I still live.

In Berlin, I built my career further, cutting hair and doing Make-up for a TV station—an opportunity I remain so grateful for.

Over time, I began incorporating oils into my makeup work, offering clients a moment of connection and calm amidst their busy schedule before they had to perform.

My daughter brought an incredible sense of stability to my life, grounding me in ways I never knew I needed. Now, as she prepares to spread her wings, I am beyond grateful how she enriched my life in ways I never imagined.

Working as a makeup artist has taken me to places and connected me with people who have filled my heart with joy. From inspiring jobs to extraordinary travel experiences, these moments have shaped me and enriched my life in ways that were both rewarding and delightful.

For a number of years I had the privilege to support our German Foreign Minister on the travels and missions. As her personal assistent I was in charge of her professional appearance.

It felt like a full-circle moment, retracing my steps in Washington—where, years ago, my scholarship journey came to a close. Back then, we were young diplomats, fostering friendship between Germany and the U.S. Congress. This time, I returned as an unofficial part of my government, contributing to a mission that was just as meaningful and impactful, 35 years apart.

More recently life gently nudged me in another direction, opening the door to something even more aligned with my purpose.

This shift gave me space to create something entirely my own:

a way to help women reconnect with themselves, feel aligned, and embrace their true desires.

A chapter filled with connection, healing, and transformation—both within and beyond.
